• One of the handles on European Cup broken
• Trophy sent to London silversmith for repair
Chelsea have revealed the Champions League trophy they won after a dramatic penalty shootout in the final against Bayern Munich has been damaged.
It is understood one of the handles was broken while members of staff at Stamford Bridge photographed themselves with the trophy.
