I’ve been hearing a lot about Dish’s new receiver that lets users choose to enable Auto Hop so that they don’t have to manually fast-forward through the commercials themselves. Several of my co-workers at Dish who have Hoppers say it’s just an automated way of fast-forwarding, so these TV networks really have nothing to be upset about, especially since I don’t have a Hopper yet, but I still fast-forward through commercials anyway.
